Bid Clerk

Hourly rate: $20/hour

Description

Our construction client is looking for a full time Bid Clerk to start immediately! Position is a temp-to-hire opportunity and schedule is M-F.

 

Job duties will include:

  • Support estimating staff with bid preparation
  • Maintain bid list and packets to ensure timely and accurate submissions
  • Acquire plans, specs and other necessary information
  • Assemble bid packets, order bid bonds and track documents
  • Provide other administrative support functions as needed

 

Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • 2 years construction industry experience preferred
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks in a deadline driven environment
