Accounting Manager

San Luis Obispo

Hourly rate: $19/hr DOE

Description

Our well-established client is looking for a full-time Accounting Manager to start as soon as possible. This is a temp-to-hire position!

 

Duties will include:

  • Maintain records of financial transactions by establishing accounts; posting transactions; ensure legal requirements compliance
  • Maintains subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating and posting transactions
  • Balances subsidiary accounts by reconciling entries
  • Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary account summaries
  • Balances general ledger by preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries
  • Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends
  • Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements
  • Generate payroll and verify accuracy

 

Requirements:

  • Knowledge and background working with QuickBooks
  • Experience with payroll processing
  • Familiarity with a wide range of financial transactions including A/P and A/R
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Strong organizational skills, able to work in a fast-paced environment
