Local financial institution is looking for a temporary Facilities Services Assistant. Schedule is M-F 8:30AM-3:30PM and is expected to last 3 months. Position is responsible for coordinating the activities of the mail and warehouse areas including shipping and receiving as well as building and maintenance related support.
Job duties will include:
Process incoming and outgoing company mail
Fulfill supply requisition forms and deliver supplies to various departments
Inventory tracking of supplies
Deliver and pick materials and supplies from vendors
Performs shipping and receiving functions
Assist in the function and appearance of the building inside and outside
Communicates with vendors over the phone and in person placing orders and follow up as needed
Maintain appearance of the warehouse and storage areas
Set up and break down of meeting rooms for functions
Requirements:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in MS Office
Ability to multi-task, synthesize, coordinate and analyze information
Valid CA driver's license, registration and insurance
Ability to push pull 35lbs and lift 45lbs.
Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time
