Administrative Assistant

Hourly rate: $14-$16/hour

Description

Local company is looking for an Administrative Assistant to start as soon as possible. This is a full-time, temporary position with a possibility of temp-to-hire.

 

Duties will include:

  • Interacts with guests, executives, vendors, visitors and employees in person, by email and telephone.
  • Operates computer terminal to update, enter and retrieve data, composes and prepares correspondence, reports, forms, etc.
  • Makes arrangements and coordinates Company events, such as parties, monthly employee birthday acknowledgements, etc.
  • Prepares and distributes two-week calendar which announces meetings, special events, employee birthdays and other information.
  • Compiles office supply requisition requests from various departments and prepares order to replenish merchandise, equipment, supplies, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent; or two to five years related experience and/or training
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Ability to type 45 wpm
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
