Temp Payroll Administrator

San Luis Obispo

Hourly rate: $18-$20/hour

Description

Local Financial Institution is looking for a Temp Payroll Administrator to join their team. This is a full time position M-F.

 

Duties include:

  • Process bi-monthly payroll for 300+ employees
  • Administer commissions and incentive compensation processing
  • Development of new reports, utilizing knowledge of SQL syntax and query
  • Prepare governmental and tax authority reporting as required
  • Create and prepare internal reports on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
  • Maintain accurate electronic payroll records
  • Reconcile benefit invoices against premiums collected
  • Serve as system expert for time and attendance system and provide training as needed
  • Support Accounting/Finance and HR departments as requested

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Minimum 2 years of payroll work experience with automated payroll and timekeeping systems
  • Understanding of key tax, wage and hour labor laws
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, financial data and analysis and reporting
  • HRIS system experience is a plus
