Office Manager

San Luis Obispo

Hourly rate: $19-$25/hour

Description

A single advisor investment company is looking for an Office Manager to join their team! Hours: 4 days per week, 29 hours. Monday & Tuesday - 7:30am to 4:00pm (1 hr lunch). Wednesday - Off. Thursday - 7:30am to 4:00pm (1 hr lunch). Friday - 7:30am to 3:00pm (1 hr lunch).

 

Position Summary: Will provide high level administrative support to financial single advisor. Upon completion of training, pay will increase and benefits will be added.

 

Some duties include:

  • Greet and assist visitors in support of the Advisor
  • Answer, screen and route phone calls for Advisor
  • Maintain client records in CRM database
  • Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
  • Open, screen, and distribute incoming mail
  • Process new client paperwork and assist with account openings, transfers, and transactions
  • Prepare bi-monthly billing spreadsheet and assist in bill paying function
  • Research and prepare information for client meetings
  • Assist with the planning and execution of events
  • Maintain Compliance standards on all business and on behalf of the Advisor
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of administrative experience
  • Proficient with MS Office, typing and CRM software
  • Securities licenses (Series 7 & 66) preferred, not required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and establish priorities
  • Highly organized with attention to detail
  • Excellent follow through and communication with Advisor
  • Client first attitude
