Assistant Community Association Manager

San Luis Obispo

Hourly rate: $15-$18/hour

Description

Local growing homeowners' association business is looking for for an Assistant Manager. Position is 30 hours per week but may increase to 40. Hours are primarily M-F with weekend and evening hours as needed.

 

Job duties will include:

  • Answer phones and greet guests
  • Assist in maintenance of company website
  • Schedule meetings and events, screen and route mail and email
  • Develop familiarity with the governance structure and rules, Declaration, and Bylaws of Associations
  • General clerical support as necessary
  • Assist Manager in compiling information, preparing reports, letters, billing adjustments and check requests
  • Occasional offsite errands as needed

 

Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced deadline driven environment
  • 3-4 years previous administrative experience
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently
  • Previous experience with community association or residential property management strongly preferred
  • Valid California State Driver's license and clean driving record
