Corporate Assistant (temp-to-hire)

San Luis Obispo

Hourly rate: $18/hour


Regional hotel company is looking for a full-time Corporate Assistant to join their team. Working under the direct supervision of the Director of HR, this position provides administrative and staff support to the general organizational operations.


Some duties include:

  • Maintain all vendor contracts in centralized file
  • Review vendor statements and verify payment of invoices
  • Assist with research and cost comparisons for vendors
  • Maintain all office equipment and supplies
  • Assist the Executive Assistant for the CEO with the coordination of travel
  • Assist COO with purchasing and organization of projects
  • Maintain and submit COO expense report
  • Update and distribute Confidential Contact List
  • Prepare newsletters and provide support of mailings
  • Meetings, trainings and event planning preparation
  • Maintain master calendar of in-house meetings
  • Prepare and distribute GM meeting minutes
  • Greet visitors, answer phones, respond to requests or forward messages to appropriate staff
  • Perform other duties as requested with a team spirit



  • 2+ years office administrative experience
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Multi-tasking and working well under pressure
  • Proficient MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Effectively manage multiple projects
