Food & Beverage Manager (Temp)

San Luis Obispo

Hourly rate: $22-$26/hour DOE

Description

Our local established client is looking for a Temporary Food & Beverage Manager to start as soon as possible!

 

This is a temporary position expected to last 6-12 weeks

 

Job duties will include:

 

  • Schedule personnel and plan dining room set-up
  • Greets members and takes reservations
  • Assist in hiring, training and supervising of staff
  • Maintains inventory of dining room items
  • Supports and helps to implement an on-going marketing program to increase business
  • Monitors dining room labor and supplies budget
  • Serves as liaison between the dining room and kitchen staff
  • Directs pre-meal meetings with dining room personnel
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have prior experience as a server in banquets or fine dining
  • Must have bartending experience
  • Must be able nights, weekends and holidays
  • Food Handlers Certification required
