HR/Payroll Specialist

Description

There is an exciting opportunity for an HR/Payroll Specialist with a local company! The ideal candidate will be organized, have a strong attention to detail and posses excellent multi-tasking skills!

 

Duties:

  • All aspects of HR including: maintain EE files, process new hire paperwork, administer benefits through a TPA, process background checks and other HR functions
  • Process payroll for 100+ employees
  • This position has flexible hours of 29-40 hrs/wk. There are competitive benefits and PTO for F/T employees.

 

Requirements:

  • BS preferred or equivalent experience
  • 2-4 years HR experience
  • 1+ years in payroll, preferably in Paylocity
  • Knowledge State and Federal laws
  • Familiar with FMLA, CFRA, Cal/OSHA
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Proficient in MS office
