Description

A vegetable seed technology & breeding company is looking for a FT Quality Assurance Analyst to join their team!

 

Summary: Manage the QC sample & testing coordination from the test creation to scheduling, data entry, & reconciliation. Ensure that all samples are distributed correctly & all tests are performed to meet the required deadlines. Communicates to stakeholders all non-conforming results & leads the resolution process.

 

Some duties include:

  • Lead the development of a master plan of what samples are pulled and tested by working with the QA Manager on quality requirements and when results are needed for batch allocation
  • Work closely with Purchasing to ensure that missing additional declaration (AD) tests are tested to meet all re-export requirements
  • Reviews all inbound samples and verifies the Determination Assignments
  • Sets up the sample planning in computer system (ABS) and enters estimated completion dates
  • Checks to ensure Determination Assignments (test samples) are scheduled to the correct labs
  • Routes samples to internal/external testing labs or purity grow-out locations
  • Retrieves existing QC samples from the warehouse and generate daily packing lists
  • Reviews internal/external labs capacity planning to ensure that it aligns with needed completion dates
  • Reports estimated completion dates to QA and stakeholders and communicates any delays
  • Enters all internal/external QC test results into ABS
  • Monitors external labs pathology websites and update results and initiate disinfecting processing if required
  • Works with inventory management to monitor incoming shipments and define receiving blends and associated testing strategies
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in data management
  • Highly proficient in MS Office
  • Knowledge of SAP or Oracle a plus
  • Attention to detail
