Administrative Assistant (temp)

Hourly rate: $20-$22/hr.

Description

Temporary Administrative Assistant needed to start as soon as possible.

 

This is a 3-4 month full-time position.

 

Duties include:

  • Perform a wide variety of varied office administrative clerical assistance
  • Issue and review building permits
  • Phone and front desk reception
  • Work with city staff and public with information requests related to all aspects of the City

 

Requirements:

 

  • Knowledge of general business practices and procedures
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Proper English usage (grammar and spelling)
  • Strong written and verbal communication and a positive, courteous approach to working with customers to resolve problems
  • Type at least 45 WPM and operate a calculator by touch
  • Bilingual Spanish a plus
