Payroll & Benefits Administrator (Temp)

Hourly rate: $19-$23/hour

Description

Premium Paso Robles winery is seeking a full-time experienced Payroll & Benefits Administrator to start as soon as possible. Position is expected to last 3-4 months.

 

Job duties will include:

  • Maintains well documented and well-organized payroll records
  • Ensures accurate and timely processing of weekly payroll including, benefits and taxes compliant with federal and state wage and hour laws
  • Research and work with HR and Finance team to correct payroll errors
  • Critically reviews and analyzes current payroll practices and procedures in order to recommend and implement positive changes and solutions
  • Reconciles benefit vendor invoices and payroll deduction reports
  • Works with HR to ensure new hires, terminations and related employee changes paperwork (FLSA status, compensation, FMLA administration, part-and full-time status) and action items are processed timely and accurately

 

Requirements:

  • Previous payroll experience required
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Previous experience in benefit administration desired
  • Bachelor Degree preferred
  • ADP experience preferred
