Receptionist (Temp-to-hire)

Hourly rate: $16-$17/hour

Description

Busy construction company is seeking a full time Receptionist to start ASAP!

 

Job duties include:

  • Welcoming on-site guests, determine nature of business, and announces guest to appropriate personnel
  • Answering incoming telephone calls, determining purpose of callers, and forwarding calls to appropriate personnel or
  • Taking and delivering messages or transferring calls to voicemail when appropriate personnel are unavailable
  • Receiving, sorting and distributing daily mail/deliveries
  • Scanning and uploading files
  • Faxing, copying and filing paperwork
  • Ordering office supplies and keep inventory of stock

 

Requirements:

  • Computer skills to include MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines, postage meters, photocopier and printers)
  • Positive attitude and polished, professional appearance
  • Telephone and email etiquette
  • Customer satisfaction mentality
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
  • Excellent organizational skills
