HR/Payroll Assistant (Part-time)

San Luis Obispo

Hourly rate: $20/hour

Description

Regional hotel company is looking for a part-time HR/Payroll Assistant to join their team. M-F 20-25 hours per week (5 hours per day). Company discount to Kennedy Club Fitness membership, paid holidays, & 401K plan with an employer match.

 

Duties include:

  • Facilitate electronic onboarding of new hires from Clear Company to ADP files
  • Process Bi-weekly payroll for 265+ employees in ADP Workforce Now
  • Process any manual checks, including final checks with the Termination process
  • Process & monitor background checks & drug testing
  • Employee verifications, both written & verbal
  • Process & monitor employee requests for Leave of Absence
  • Facilitate & monitor HEP B vaccinations to employees
  • Manage the DMV Pull Program
  • Monitor the Wellness Kennedy Club Fitness plan, including monthly process for payroll
  • Process biweekly post-payroll reports: 401K ACH, PT Hours, EDD Data, New PR Detail, etc.
  • Process Quarterly EDD report, & EDD New Hire reporting
  • Annual W2 & ACA distribution
  • Consistent scanning of documents into the ADP Cloud
  • Other duties, as assigned

 

Requirements:

  • Solid experience in ADP Workforce Now (HR/Payroll systems)
  • Highly proficient in HR Applicant Tracking Integration Systems
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word skills
  • Experience with A/P a plus
  • Attention to detail, multitask, accuracy & quality
  • Self-motivating and able to work with little supervision
