Office Coordinator

Hourly rate: $18-$20/hour

Description

Local Ag company looking for an Office Coordinator to join their team!

Hours are M-F 8am-4:30pm.

Company offers vacation, sick leave, medical, dental insurance, a 401(k) and profit-sharing plan.

 

Summary: This position will aide all staff members and perform various office functions.

 

Duties will include:

  • Answer phones, email correspondence and greet visitors
  • Organize conference calls and update admin calendar as needed
  • Order and maintain office supplies, lab/scientific supplies and uniform shirts
  • Prepare packages, create labels, coordinate pick up or drop off and run other errands as needed
  • HR duties including assisting with new hire paperwork, update and maintain employee files/lists, enter medical and dental, maintain vacation requests, verify employment when needed, scan and upload timecards and reports and submit payroll
  • Maintain admin/HR electronic folder and vehicle records
  • Ship samples for biologist
  • Event coordination and travel arrangements
  • Manage and distribute mail/packages
  • Aid the Director and all other staff as needed

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient with MS Office programs
  • Prior office experience
  • Highly organized and motivated
  • Detail oriented
  • Clean driving record
