Front Office Administrative Assistant

San Luis Obispo

Hourly rate: $16-$18/hr

Description

Our local engineering client is looking for a Front Office Administrative Assistant for their San Luis Obispo office!

This position will start out part-time, M-F, 8am-1pm. However, it will have the potential to go full-time for the right opportunity.

 

Duties will include:

  • Answer phones on a busy multi phone line
  • Greet customers and clients and process incoming and outgoing mail
  • Organize and administer the daily office calendar. Assist in scheduling and tracking resources such as conference room usage and company vehicle usage
  • Enter invoices into accounts payable system, following proper procedures for job costing and purchase order approval
  • Perform invoicing in accounts receivable system, calculate correct invoice amount based on job costs and/or quoted fee
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
  • Proficient with 10 key
  • Experience in an office setting
  • Prior construction background helpful
