Front Office Administrative Assistant
San Luis Obispo
Hourly rate: $16-$18/hr
Our local engineering client is looking for a Front Office Administrative Assistant for their San Luis Obispo office!
This position will start out part-time, M-F, 8am-1pm. However, it will have the potential to go full-time for the right opportunity.
Duties will include:
- Answer phones on a busy multi phone line
- Greet customers and clients and process incoming and outgoing mail
- Organize and administer the daily office calendar. Assist in scheduling and tracking resources such as conference room usage and company vehicle usage
- Enter invoices into accounts payable system, following proper procedures for job costing and purchase order approval
- Perform invoicing in accounts receivable system, calculate correct invoice amount based on job costs and/or quoted fee
- Other duties as assigned
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
- Proficient with 10 key
- Experience in an office setting
- Prior construction background helpful
