Construction client is looking for an Accounting Administrative Assistant to join their team! This is a non-exempt temp-to-hire position.
What You'll Do:
Provide support to members of the Accounting department for A/R, A/P, and cash management functions of the business
Serve as Receptionist
Receiving, sorting, date stamping and distributing mail
File/scan/copy invoices, bank, tax, and other documents as needed
Update ERP system to add and maintain vendors, contacts, client projects, and other data
Perform AP data entry
Support A/R processes by assisting in the billing process cycle; sending invoice due reminders, compiling and sorting incoming invoices and payments, reconciling incoming payments to open invoices, and assisting with outgoing A/R mail
Reconcile employee receipts with expense reports and prepare expense reports for payment
Track, research, and help resolve invoicing issues
Organize mailings including postage meter services
Order and maintain all office supplies
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Degree in Accounting or functional equivalent preferred
1-3 years of previous related accounting support experience
Highly proficient with Microsoft Office
Must have a valid CA driver’s license with good driving record (low points) with reliable transportation
Strong sense of discretion and confidentiality required
Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication
Attention to detail, accurate and well organized
