Description

Our large engineering/construction client company is looking for a full time Controller to start ASAP!

 

This is a temp-to-hire opportunity and would be M-F

 

Job duties will include:

  • Manage and oversee the day to day financial accounting functions and reporting
  • Handle inter-company transactions and reconciliations
  • Manage all GL accounts, project cost-accounting, preparing financial statements and sales tax reporting
  • Administration management of 401 (k) pension plans and management of fixed assets
  • Oversee all accounts and reporting systems ensuring compliance with GAAP standards
  • Coordinate all audit activity, analyze financial data and manage cash flow projections
  • Other finance duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

  • BS in Accounting with 5+ years in construction accounting, auditing and management reporting
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of construction practices and related accounting principals with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and Sage Timberline
