Office Manager

Hourly rate: $18/hour

Description

Local non-profit association is looking for a part-time Office Manager to join their team! This position is part-time, up to 28 hours a week, with the possibility of full-time in the future.

 

  • Processing new membership applications, invoicing and processing payments received. Ability to accept and process credit cards payments required
  • Maintaining membership directory and the online membership list
  • Work with the staff accountant in preparation of tax statement, annual reports, etc.
  • Attend membership dinner meetings and mixers and assist with off-site events, in addition to soliciting attendance, collection, and billing of the dinner charges
  • Assist in securing and scheduling of seminars
  • Assist with accounts receivable, accounts payable, general bookkeeping, collections, and accounting
  • Assist with maintaining the checking account, bank statements reconciliation and receiving payments and preparing deposit slips

 

Requirements:

  • Excellent customer service
  • Must be proficient in QuickBooks 2014 or newer, Microsoft Suite, MS Access
  • Working knowledge of web based programs, business social media / Networking and Marketing
  • Social media savvy
  • Must be able to attend and assist with offsite events
  • Possess a valid California Driver's license and auto insurance
  • Must be Bondable
  • Must be able to navigate stairs, carry plans, spec books and lift 20-30 lbs. comfortably daily
  • Non-Profit Experience a plus
