Help Desk Support (Temp)

Hourly Rate: $20-$21.50/hour DOE
Location: San Luis Obispo

Description

Local high tech manufacturing company is looking for temporary Help Desk Support!

Assignment is expected to last through June 2019. 8 or 9am - 5pm, flexible. 40 hours/week, Monday - Friday.

Help Desk Support:

  • Provide initial employee support for technical inquiries received via phone, email, chat, and in person
  • Assess the nature of problems and resolve basic support issues
  • Troubleshoot software and hardware issues on laptops, desktops, tablets, and/or smartphones
  • Log or record support tickets and/or cases
  • For more complex issues, transfer internal customers to second-level Help Desk Technician
  • Move IT equipment around office, up/down stairs as required
  • Assist employees with ergonomic desk set ups

Requirements

  • 1 - 3 years' experience in IT or related field
  • Proficient in MS Office suite
  • Great technical skills
  • Ability to work in a high paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work with various co-workers and departments
